Valves provide accurate proportional flow control

Emerson has introduced the ASCO Series 209 proportional flow control valves said to offer high standards of precision, pressure ratings, flow characteristics and energy efficiency available in a purpose-built, compact architecture.

The Series 209 valves allow users to precisely regulate the flow of fluid in a wide range of devices that require exacting performance, the company says, like those found in the medical equipment, food and beverage, and HVAC industries.

The proportional flow control valves have a hysteresis less than or equal to 5%, repeatability of ≤ 1% and sensitivity of ≤ 0.2%.
